HelpMi is a Czech non-governmental organization that provides general support and protection of migrants and helps them with integration into the Czech society. The main aim of this organization is supplying free legal, social and psychosocial counseling. In addition, HelpMi provides advice in human resource management and rights.
Examples of services provided for immigrants:
- Counseling in the area of housing - search for housing, mediated negotiations with landlords, legal control of lease contracts, etc.
- Assistance in dealing with authorities, arranging contact with state administration authorities and other institutions such as health insurance companies, the Czech Social Security Administration, medical facilities, etc.
- Consultancy in the fields of family, labor, civil, administrative and social law.
- Consultancy in the area of finding jobs,, addressing suitable employers, compiling a CV, preparing for a job interview, registering job seekers in recruitment agencies databases, solving complicated situations (eg termination of employment, safety at work, maternity and parenting issues, etc.)
- Psychosocial counseling - individual counseling and group therapy with experienced psychotherapists.
